A Case In Point
A large national Property and Casualty Insurer contracted SYSCOM for an “As-Is, To-Be” project that included Process Confirmation and Analysis, Process Re-engineering and Design, and advice on Approach and Cost.
During the “As-Is” phase of the project, the goal was to gain a clear understanding of, and then document, the current process flows for several major Lines-of-Business. This analysis successfully identified several process inefficiencies. The objective of the “To-be” phase of the project was to redesign, re-engineer and in some cases, automate some of the current processes. The goal was to design better workflow-enabled processes that will be performed quicker and with greater efficiency.
Ultimately, with SYSCOM’s help, the customer put the recommended changes into place, resulting in not only greater efficiency, but also a transparent process with greater opportunities for reporting and tracking.
